Weekly Weigh-in 10/28/11

Previous weight: 183.4

Current weight: 183.2

Change: -0.2

Total Loss: 73.8 lbs

I’ve got 2 words to describe this weigh-in:

Manchego cheese and jalapeno cornbread with maple butter
Vanilla ice cream with hot fudge and Luxardo cherries

Ok, that’s way more than 2 words, but you get my point. I indulged. I overdid a bit, and it showed on the scale. I’m proud of having a loss, in the face of all that indulgence.

(Editor’s note: The cornbread was SO worth it. It was amazing.)

I’m now pushing hard (harder than last week for sure) to have a good weigh-in next week. I still have my goal of getting out of the 180s by November 4. This just makes it that much harder to get there in a week.

So I’m tightening everything up, and staying focused. Bring it on, November 4!

    • I hear you on the indulgences this weekend, good for your for still losing though!! That’s amazing! The cornbread sounds SO worth it. I’m curious, when you “tighten up and refocus” what does that mean for you? Is there anything inparticular you do?

      • For me, that means more disciplined about staying hydrating. No “eyeballing” on portions (again with the portions!) or neglecting to journaling even small bites or snacks. Getting more activity in is important too, but I find that focusing on diet is foundational for me and sorta has to be done first. I don’t know why, that’s just how I’m wired I guess!
